Raspberry Ombré Prosecco – Blogmas Day 9


What I love about the weeks leading up to christmas is that everyone is willing to go to a party pretty much every night. And since my favourite thing is having lovely people over to have nice food and some drinks, this is the perfect season for me. I also like trying out new drinks. I mean, I love the classics, you can never go wrong with a glass of wine or a g&t, but it’s always fun to make something new and preferably festive.


I mean, just look at these! There’s red and green, there’s prosecco (or champagne, if you’re fancy) and there’s a freakin’ christmas tree!

This is raspberry purée, a bubbly of your choice and a sprig of rosemary that looks a little like a christmas tree.

To make the raspberry purée for four glasses (so I made half this recipe for the glasses in the pictures) you need about half a cup of rasperries (fresh or frozen), a tablespoon of brown sugar and about 2 tablespoons of water. Just put all of the ingredients into a small pot and let it simmer for about 5 minutes or until the raspberries have broken into little segments. Let the mixture cool down and then distribute equally between the four glasses. Stick the rosemary into the purée and carefully pour in the bubbly.


You don’t even realise how hard it was to choose the pictures for this post, I had so many… I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of it! And the best thing about boozy blog posts? Someone has to drink it. Yay me!
